Sponsoring Emley Show 2017

The Emley Show, one of the best-attended and respected agricultural events in Yorkshire, returns on Saturday 5th August this year and promises a great day out for all the family.

Not only that, but this year marks the 100^th show, and Earnshaws Fencing Centres are delighted to be sponsoring this significant “champion day out”, in particular the Wood Carving and Stickmaker Classes. Since we’re experts in woodworking and timber, we thought it was appropriate. We even make our own sticks too!

Families and enthusiasts alike will gather “beneath the mast”, surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, to enjoy one of the greatest agricultural shows around. Last year’s show alone attracted 12,000 eager visitors from across Yorkshire. A wide range of activities, crafts, entertainment, competitions and food promises an equally substantial turn-out this year. Organisers have told visitors to expect even bigger and better attractions than ever before, to commemorate the show’s centennial celebration.
