October at Midgley!

Despite changes to our Halloween plans, there's plenty to do at Midgley this month!

Throughout Halloween weekend and October half-term, the Little Acorn will be open as usual, serving a selection of seasonal treats,
including Parkin, toffee and ginger sponge, and the new children’s special hot chocolate!

Similarly, our woodland walk and nature trail will be open throughout the whole of October, making for the perfect day out!
The beautiful autumnal colours should soon be out in full force, but so might be the unpredictable weather – wellies are, therefore, advised!

Halloween – An Update

We have had an increasing number of customers ask whether we will be running a Halloween-themed woodland walk at our Midgley centre this year.

Given the recent rise in local COVID-19 infections and the new restrictions imposed on the Wakefield district, we have decided against running any Halloween events,
as the safety of our customers, staff and the local community remains our top priority.

We hope that you understand our decision and we look forward to seeing you throughout October!
