Naturally, all our wooden playhouses are carefully built with safety in mind. Manufactured by TGB, they conform to trading standards BS5665 and are fitted with the CE Mark safety features including acrylic safety glass, planed and rounded corners on all the framing, staircases with horizontal tread, and handrails. Doors on our wooden playhosues are fitted with anti-trap plastic strip to prevent finger injury.
TGB wooden playhouses are pre-treated with quality water-based wood preservative prior to delivery. To ensure added longevity we recommend a topcoat upon installation, and annually thereafter. Timber is a natural product, subject to changes caused by environmental conditions, therefore, to minimise contraction and expansion it is essential to maintain your wooden playhouse.

A wooden playhouse can be a play paradise for children, and parents will welcome an alternative to television and the ubiquitous computer games.
Even though children will naturally want to play undisturbed, it’s advisable to locate your wooden playhouse where you have a sight line from windows inside the house, and from the garden.
If possible, place your children’s playhouse in a shaded place to avoid young ones overheating and being over exposed to sunlight.
Try to locate your wooden playhouse on the softest available surface, in the hope of minimising scrapes from the inevitable trips and falls. The soft grass of your lawn is the best choice.
