Blue slate chippings can be used in several ways. You can create decorative features in your garden that are robust and complement hard landscaping and natural planting. The natural colour of the slate brings an aesthetic appeal that can be used in both modern and traditional gardens. Blue slate chippings also allow free drainage of rainwater and prevent water loss when used as ground cover or as a topper for plant pots.
They’re an extremely useful product to use in your garden and are great value for money. They are available for sale at Earnshaws in 25kg bags and larger dump bags for bigger projects.
You can visit us at either of our fencing and garden centres to pick up your bags of blue slate chippings or order dump bags for home delivery. Head to Midgley (between Huddersfield, Barnsley and Wakefield) or Brigg in North Lincolnshire and we can run through the needs of your project to ensure you’re buying the right volume of chippings.
And when it comes to larger volumes of chippings, it’s not something you’ll be able to transport yourself. As we have delivery vehicles at both of our garden centres, we can get your bags loaded up and delivered right to your door.
