RHS Plant of the Year 2022

The results of this year’s competition have been announced.

The RHS have announced the results of the competition which celebrates the most exciting new plants launched in 2022.

And the winner is…… Semponium ‘Destiny’ from Surreal Succulents, with second place awarded to Armeria Pseudarmeria ‘Dreamland’ (Dreameria Series) from Stonebarn Landscapes, and third place going to Salvia Pink Amistad (‘Arggr17-011’) from Middleton Nurseries Ltd.

In advance of this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Plant Committee and Trials Forum experts judged a shortlist of entrants. Plants awarded first, second, and third place take pride of place at the show’s Plant of the Year display in the Great Pavilion where all the finalists are on display!
